The Accra Plains Depot (APD) Upgrade Project, executed for Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Company (BOST), transformed operational capabilities at this facility. This initiative focused on enhancing pump houses, constructing additional units, and upgrading the loading gantry and pipeline infrastructure. The result? A significant boost in operational efficiency and optimized delivery systems, ensuring BOST meets growing energy demands with reliability.

Our team delivered this upgrade through a seamless, multi-phase approach. It began with preliminary assessments and design, where site surveys, hydraulic analysis, and detailed engineering ensured compliance with both project goals and regulatory standards. Procurement followed, securing pipes, valves, fittings, and essential materials with precision and timeliness.
Civil construction laid the groundwork; excavating and building pipe supports, pump bases, and steel structures to anchor the system. Through welding and fabrication, we crafted and assembled pipeline components, backed by rigorous quality control and non-destructive testing for structural and system integrity.
The installation and tie-in phase integrated new pipelines and pumps with existing systems, executed with safety and efficiency at the forefront. Finally, testing and commissioning confirmed the system’s readiness, handing over a fully optimized operation to BOST.
